Q: What Firing Systems Are Supported by ShowSim?

A: While ShowSim does not control any firing system hardware directly, it does generate data files that can be read by the firing system software of the most common systems. On some cases ShowSim can transfer data directly to the firing system, such as with the PyroDigital systems. Most firing system software can read data files that are in CSV, Access or Text file formats, all of which ShowSim can easily generate. ShowSim can also read in several of these formats as well, and also inventory database files.

The listing on the Information page of this site shows the current file formats supported by ShowSim. New formats are added on a request basis, either by working with the firing system companies directly or, if that is not possible, then using sample files provided by the customer.
