ShowSim is available in three different versions: Lite, Pro and XL. These versions offer different sets of functionality to meet the needs and budgets of different types of display operators. The following table shows what features are available for each version.

Note: shows that are created in the Lite version of ShowSim can not be imported into Pro or XL. However, if a Lite license is upgraded to Pro or XL, then Passfire Labs can convert any existing show data created in Lite so that it will load into Pro or XL. This service is offered free of charge as part of the upgrade package.

ShowSim Lite – entry level functionality for small display operators who do not use computer firing systems. This version allows the small or part-time operator to still enjoy the benefits of simulation while also creating detailed setup reports and voice command audio files.

ShowSim Pro – mid level functionality for medium sized or full time display operators who use computer firing systems. This version adds the ability to read or write a variety of hardware formats, a robust inventory management system, effect library add-ons and the ability to produce titled presentation videos to use when bidding on shows.

ShowSim XL – high level functionality for larger display companies that need the highest quality simulations as well as a full range of all pyrotechnic effect simulations. This version is ideal for companies who incorporate special ground effects into their shows, such as wheels, lance work and set pieces. XL gives the highest degree of customization, realism and functionality to handle complex productions while creating very realistic looking video presentations.
